Audrey Hepburn poem...

I love this poem that Audrey Hepburn wrote.
It was read at her funeral years later...

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.
People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed and redeemed; never throw out anyone.
Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms.
As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.

  1. Sissy, I love this.  I will save this for little flower group!  Outstanding is all i can say!  what say you?  should i save for little flower group?

Sissy, I had to log in in a strange way to make a comment today.  AOL must be working over time to make us log in.  I press add a comment on your page.  It took me to another page that made me read three things about new AOL features, LOL.  Then i had to sign in an aol or aim screename or email addy, and then put in my secret aol or aim password.  then i had to hit enter.  then back to your entry, then press add a comment again.  then i finally got to add a comment.  It could have been worse.  some people's blogs i had to do this two or three times just to make one comment in their blog.  I was asked if it was a glitch in my computer, i think not, i think it is AOL, b/c it is happening in some of the blogs i try to post comments in and not in others.  so i bet it is happening to others who are trying to post comments in yours also.  some are trying to sign in, and either cant, or it is a long drawn out process.  the reason i am telling you is this -- this could be why you are not getting many comments.

okay, i am off, i am going to visit mommy in the hospital in a few more minutes.  i mean in rehab hospital.. much love and kisses,

    krissy :)
