  2. Oh, had to come back and say, besides the Bible verse at the top, this one is my fave:

"Remember there is no such thing as a small act of kindness.
Every act creates a ripple with no logical end."
    - Scott Adams

That is SO profound. I know EVERY action we take matters, and everything we do has an effect on the universe and those within it, either for the good or for the bad. Therefor, we need to be careful of our bad and sloppy actions, and very purposeful with our good actions. Even a very small action is very, very noble and has a tremendous ripple effect. You don't know what even a smile may do for someone. For example, let us say that someone was planning on taking his life, and another gave him a kind word that day. He came to realize that there were people in life that cared about him, and changed his mind, and slowly got his life back together. This in turn had an effect on so many other lives, as the man did not take his own life. The man's wife and kids were spared extreme grief. Other lives were changed as this man went on to do great things, helping others as he had once knew grief himself. Perhaps he helped others in his former position. Perhaps he went on to raise money for a cure for cancer. Perhaps he helped raise foster children or just taught the neighbor kids to play baseball, and hence they didn't feel alone, when their parents weren't around. The point of the story is, bc the one person who said kind words to the man who was going to take his life that day long ago actually did say the kind words, many lives were changed! If you feel led to do something kind, do so. Even if it seems very small to you. You may never know what good it caused, but it may cause a tremendous good! Then on the other hand, Jesus may show you in Heaven the good it caused! So keep on "paying it forward!"
